  8. Institution, Barbara Bush followed a First Lady tradition. But
  9. not without regrets. "I love this dress," she said last week,
  10. "and I really hate to give it up." She also handed over the
  11. shoes, evening bag and triple strand of faux pearls she wore
  12. to the festivities. Naturally she had another set handy to put
  13. on while inspecting the mannequin -- made to her measurements
  14. -- that'll wear the dress from now on. Joked Bush: "She looks
  15. exactly like me."
